I don’t know about you but I am a summer girl at heart. I found myself in a bit of a funk this week and I realzed it was because another summer is coming to an end. The weather this week did not help either. Believe me I had an incredible summer and I am so grateful for every fun day I have. Baking in the sun, my trip to Maine and a fabulous weekend in Long Beach Island to name a few. I took some time and meditated on how I was feeling and put together some stratergies on how to move forward into the next season joyfully and lovingly. I wanted to share my plan with you.
1. Mediation every day even if it’s only 5 minutes:
I love the app Insight Timer. It’s free and there are literally thousands of mediations on every topic under the sun. Everything from gratitude, to stress and anxiety meditaitons, and they range in time from 5 minutes to 1 hour. Check it out.
2. Exercise and stretch every day:
Take a workout or yoga class at least 3 times a week, for at least 30 minutes and stretch every single morning after meditation.
3. Journal:
As most of you know I have been journaling my whole life. It’s a powerful tool for clarity and letting go of feelings and thoughts that no longer serve you. It’s also the best way to express gratiute. So journal every morning even if it’s only for a few minutes.
4. Eat well, live well, be well:
Fuel your body and your mind with goodness. Food and thoughts are going to fuel and charge up your mind, body, and soul.
