I always had a strong interest in health, nutrition and natural remedies. It was not until a friend signed up to study at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and stopped by to show me her new course books that I realized my true passion was health and nutrition. I was shocked to see that I had most of the course books on my own bookshelves and a light bulb went off in my head. I enrolled into nutrition school and never looked back. I love the fact that IIN is integrative and holistic because I believe there is so much more to health and nutrition than what is on your plate. Yes, you are what you eat but you are also, what you think. I believe a mind-body-spirit connection is most important to your health and wellbeing.
I received my training in 2007 at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition’s cutting edge Health Coach Training Program, where I trained in more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. I received additional Health Counseling training from Columbia University. I am a certified health coach and member of AADP, The American Association of Drugless Practitioners. In 2008, I completed the Integrative Nutrition Immersion Graduate Program. Upon graduation, I founded Be Well Nourished an integrative, holistic wellness and lifestyle coaching practice.
I am also Certified and trained by Gabrielle Bernstien and completed the Spirit Junkie Masterclass level one and two. I’m also trained in the healing modality of Reiki level one and two and I use meditation and visualization to help my clients have a clear vision on how they can transform their life.
Since the inception of Be Well Nourished, I have been supporting women one-on-one and in group coaching to live an inspired life by empowering them to create balance and harmony in their lives through simple lifestyle changes, healthy food choices, improved self-awareness, self-love and meditation. Through my one-on-one or group coaching sessions, I help my clients create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits their unique body, lifestyle and goals.
